Wolfenden returns to the Royal Highland Show 2025

This summer, we are heading back to the Royal Highland Show – one of the UK’s leading agricultural events – and we’re thrilled to announce that Richard Moody, our Managing Director, will be on-site to meet with farmers, industry leaders, and fellow innovators.

Once again, we’re proud to have been invited back to the RHS as a distributer partner to EasyFix – with aligned values it is a productive partnership that places animal welfare, environmental sustainability, and practical on-farm innovation at the centre of everything we do.

Whether you’re attending for inspiration, information, or to make direct investments in your farm’s future, we’d love to have a conversation with you about what’s new at Wolfenden Concrete – and how our solutions are helping British agriculture rise to meet the challenges of tomorrow.

A year of innovation

At Wolfenden Concrete, we don’t stand still. Over the past year, we’ve continued to invest heavily in research and development, focusing on practical ways to help farmers futureproof their infrastructure while responding to the environmental and regulatory challenges of modern agriculture.

This commitment led to the launch of our Agri-Stride range – a hybrid flooring solution designed specifically for livestock environments. Agri-Stride brings together the durability of concrete with the comfort and grip of rubber, creating flooring that significantly improves hoof health, slurry management, and overall herd welfare.

Our first release, the Agri-Stride Classic, was met with excellent feedback – and now, with the introduction of the Agri-Stride Vario, we’re offering even more flexibility and innovation to suit the ever-evolving demands of today’s farms.

Spotlight on the Vario: A world-first in hybrid flooring

We’re especially proud to be bringing the Agri-Stride Vario to the Royal Highland Show this year – a world-first dual-spanning hybrid slat that exemplifies what makes Wolfenden Concrete different.

What sets the Vario apart?

  • Dual-Spanning Capability: It’s the only diagonial shaped product of its kind that can cover both narrow channels and wide passages, making it ideal for farms with mixed infrastructure or plans for future expansion.
  • 50% non-slip concrete surface allows for optimum wear on cow’s feet.
  • Chevron Rubber Inserts: The Vario’s insert design promotes more effective slurry dispersal, helping reduce surface ammonia levels and keeping floors cleaner.
  • Multi-Animal Flexibility: As with all Agri-Stride products, the rubber inserts can be swapped to suit different species, providing unmatched versatility throughout the farming year.
  • Long-Term Value: With a 10-year+ lifespan on the inserts and concrete slats that remain in place, the Vario supports a low-disruption, cost-effective approach to infrastructure upgrades.

Bringing the Vario to the Royal Highland Show means we can talk to farmers face-to-face about how this product can integrate into their systems – and more importantly, how it can save time, improve safety, and support environmental goals without compromising on durability.

“Our return to the Royal Highland Show this year is about more than just showing off what we’ve built. It’s about continuing the conversation with British farmers – understanding what they need now, and anticipating what they’ll need next,” says Richard Moody, Managing Director at Wolfenden Concrete.

“The Agri-Stride range – and especially the Vario – is a great example of what happens when we invest in R&D, spend time on farms, and work closely with the industry. It’s built from real conversations, real needs, and real challenges. And the feedback we’re already getting from farms using Agri-Stride is incredibly positive – improved animal movement, cleaner barns, and a clear impact on vet costs and productivity.”

“Being invited back to the Highland Show, alongside EasyFix, gives us the perfect platform to connect directly with farmers who are thinking about upgrading, expanding, or simply making their barns more sustainable. If you’re there, come by – we’re always happy to chat.”

What you’ll find at the stand

If you’re heading to the show, here’s what you can expect when you visit the EasyFix stand, where Richard will be based:

  • See the Agri-Stride Vario in person – and get hands-on with the design that’s setting new standards in hybrid flooring.
  • Talk to Richard about your farm’s infrastructure needs, and how Agri-Stride can support your productivity, animal welfare, and environmental goals.
  • Explore EasyFix solutions and how our two product lines can complement each other to create safer, more efficient housing for your herd.
  • Get answers to your technical questions and take away brochures, specs, and support materials to inform your next investment.

Why Agri-Stride?

Ultimately, everything we do at Wolfenden Concrete is built around solving three major challenges for livestock farmers:

  1. Improving animal welfare through better flooring comfort and traction.
  1. Reducing environmental impact, especially in terms of ammonia emissions.
  1. Lowering long-term costs through flexible, low-maintenance, and future-ready design.

Agri-Stride hits all three of these priorities head-on. And by offering modular, replaceable systems that adapt as your farm grows, we help ensure that today’s investment pays off for years to come.

Join us in Edinburgh

We’re looking forward to another incredible Royal Highland Show, surrounded by the best of British agriculture. Whether you’re planning to upgrade your flooring this year or simply want to explore your options, we’d love to meet you.

Newsflash: New product launch at the Great Yorkshire Show

We’re also excited to announce that the next addition to the AgriStride range – AgriStride Moov – will officially launch at the Great Yorkshire Show in July.

The Moov is designed as a general-purpose high welfare slat, ideal for short distances and through cow race passages, where loading and scraping isn’t as critical. Like all AgriStride products, it balances comfort, flexibility, and durability – helping farmers optimise both animal movement and infrastructure investment in targeted areas of the farm.

Stay tuned for more details – or better yet, come and see it for yourself in Harrogate this July!
