Concrete feed troughs & barriers

Our feed troughs are the ideal cattle feeding solution. They are quick and easy to install and relocate, extremely robust, hygienic and cost effective with minimal wastage of feed. Available in a range of sizes with feed rail options to suit any situation.

Splayed back feed trough

Due to popular demand we have started manufacturing a splay sided feed trough to complement our already extensive feed trough range.

This trough is ideal as a standalone unit. With its sloped side it can contain a higher capacity of feed but is still shallow enough and narrow enough at the bottom to allow the cattle to empty it.

  • Designed to BS8110
  • Reduced the amount of feed refills
  • Smooth internal finish
  • Easy relocation designed for forklift transport
  • Large feed capacity

Feed barrier

Our feed barrier, manufactured to BS8110 is exceptionally veratile. It can be used singly adjacent to an existing wall. It can also be combined with a feed fence to contain feed at the filling side of a passage or in pairs. In addition, the centre can be concreted to form any width of trough.

Reinforcement can be left exposed in the base to securely tie the barrier into the concrete floor slab. This removes the need for stub columns to support panels. The smooth internal finish and bevelled corners allows feed to travel smoothly through the trough, which facilitates easy cleaning. Integral lifting eye/rail mounting sockets.

  • Multiple uses
  • Manufactured to BS8110
  • Easy installation
  • Stand alone barrier
  • Variable width trough
  • Feedstuff containment
  • Self-supporting

1000mm feed trough

This sturdy trough is ideal for agricultural livestock feeding. Like many of our products, it is designed to be fitted and relocated quickly and simply.

The integral feed rail allows the farmer to choose between single or double side feeding, whilst the smooth internal finish and lack of corner traps make this trough very easy to clean.

  • Designed to BS8110
  • One side or both sides feeding
  • No feed traps
  • Concrete end panel available
  • Speedy installation
  • Easily moved with fork tines

1500mm feed trough

This 1500mm wide feed trough unit is ideal for agricultural livestock feeding. With concrete feet cast across the underside, it is designed to be fitted and relocated quickly and simply with fork tines.

The feed rail slots into a socket cast into the base of the trough. When combined with horizontal head rail tubes, it is designed to eat empty during double side feeding. The head rail also prevents the animals from trying to climb in. The trough’s smooth internal finish and lack of corner traps make it very easy to clean. Bolt on concrete end panels available.
