Wolfenden Concrete Wins Innovation Award at Pendle Business Awards 

We’re pleased to share that Wolfenden Concrete has won the Innovation Award at the 2025 Pendle Business Awards — our second consecutive year coming away with a win. 

It’s an achievement we’re proud of, not just because it’s an award, but because of what it represents: continued improvement, and a team that’s committed to doing things properly. 

A night to remember 

The awards ceremony, held at The Fence Gate in Burnley, was a fantastic evening. It was great to catch up with familiar faces and meet others who are all working hard to move their businesses forward in different ways. 

Being surrounded by so many local companies each with their own stories, challenges, and successes reminded us why Pendle’s business community is something to be proud of. The sense of shared support and resilience was clear, and we’re glad to be part of it. 

What innovation means to us 

At Wolfenden, we don’t use the word ‘innovation’ lightly. For us, it’s not about shiny ideas or chasing trends. It’s about finding better, more effective ways to solve real problems and doing so with care, thought, and long-term value in mind. 

This past year has seen us launch new products, improve existing systems, and complete a full brand refresh. These changes haven’t been made for the sake of it. They’ve come from listening to what our customers need and building solutions that make their jobs easier, safer, and more efficient. 

We’ve focused on systems that improve animal welfare, cut down long-term running costs, and stand up to years of hard use. It’s the kind of progress that might not always grab headlines, but it makes a real difference where it counts. 

Built on teamwork 

This award belongs to the entire Wolfenden team. From the early design stage through to installation and aftercare, everyone here plays their part. The quality of what we deliver is a direct result of the people behind it people who take pride in getting it right. 

We’re also grateful to our customers and partners. Your trust, feedback, and willingness to invest in long-term infrastructure keeps us focused on doing better every year. We’re not just here to sell products we’re here to help farms grow stronger and stay ahead, whatever’s around the corner. 

Looking to the future 

Winning the Innovation Award two years running is a proud moment. But it doesn’t mean we stop. If anything, it’s a reminder to keep pushing forward to keep asking the right questions, improving our systems, and staying focused on what matters most to the people who rely on us. 

We’ve got more in the pipeline, and as always, our focus is on reliable, practical solutions that work in the real world. No gimmicks, no shortcuts just well-made systems, designed to last.
