Back at the Royal Highland Show for Wolfenden Concrete
That’s another Royal Highland Show wrapped up and once again, it didn’t disappoint.
Sunshine, blue skies, and a full field of farmers – we couldn’t have asked for better weather. After a busy year on the road and in the yard, it was brilliant to be back out on the ground, talking face-to-face with the people we build for.
We were proud to return to Edinburgh alongside our long-standing partners EasyFix, sharing the latest from Wolfenden Concrete and hearing directly from farmers about what’s working, what’s not, and what they need next.
A strong showing for the Agri-Stride Vario
The standout attraction on the stand this year? No contest – it was the Agri-Stride Vario.
Our latest hybrid slat drew a lot of attention, and rightly so. It’s the first of its kind anywhere in the world – and it’s built for flexibility, strength, and long-term performance on UK farms.
Here’s what sets it apart:
- Dual-spanning capability – covers both narrow channels and wide walkways
- Swap-in rubber inserts – tailor the grip for cows, calves, or sheep
- Chevron design for better slurry flow – keeps floors cleaner, reduces ammonia
- 10+ year insert life – with concrete slats that stay in for decades
It’s not just clever – it’s built for real farms, with real daily pressures. The kind of product you install once and trust for years to come.
As Richard put it, “Great amount of interest in the AgriStride range, as it’s a new product on the market a lot of people didn’t know what it was, until enquired on the EasyFix stand.”
And it wasn’t just local farmers taking an interest – there were visitors from around the world drawn to the stand to see the slats up close.
One attendee from New Zealand mentioned that his family had seen the Classic slat previously at another show, and had asked him to seek us out to take another look at the product in person.
Grounded in experience, driven by what works
Everything we showed at the Highland Show this year was grounded in something simple: we listen to farmers.
We’re not interested in chasing trends or cutting corners. We build products that solve problems – whether that’s improving hoof health, lowering emissions, or just making everyday cleaning and movement easier.
Agri-Stride is proof of that approach. The original Classic got strong feedback when we launched it last year, and the Vario builds on that – offering more versatility without losing an ounce of Wolfenden reliability.
The results speak for themselves:
- Healthier animals
- Less downtime
- Cleaner barns
- Fewer vet bills
Richard also noted that existing customers made a point of coming over to say hello and told him directly that they’d be moving forward with the AgriStride range.
This is the kind of feedback matters – because it tells us we’re building the right solutions for real farms.
Thanks to EasyFix and everyone who stopped by
We were proud to be back on the EasyFix stand, shoulder to shoulder with a company that shares our values – long-term thinking, smarter solutions, and no nonsense.
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by. Whether you came with a full building plan or just popped in for a look, we appreciated every conversation. Events like this remind us why we do what we do – and who we’re doing it for.
Already looking ahead
The Royal Highland Show is always a highlight – but this year felt particularly special.
Sunshine, strong conversations, and a great atmosphere out on the field made it one to remember.
We’re already looking forward to RHS 2026 – and we’ve got plenty in the pipeline between now and then.
If you didn’t make it to the stand (or just want to keep the conversation going), get in touch. We’re always happy to talk through your options, advice, and solutions that work.
