Yes, our water troughs are easy to clean and designed with maintenance in mind. Water troughs will drain easily and should be cleaned regularly to prevent the build up of dirt or algae. This can be done with brushing or using tools such as power washers.
Our concrete water troughs come with a frost proof design, reducing the likelihood or water troughs freezing. Having said this, preventing water troughs from freezing can be challenging, and there are methods to help if you are experiencing freezing issues. This includes placing your water trough in sunny locations, regularly adding more water, or by insulating or heating your trough. This ensures livestock have easy access to water throughout colder months.
