Prestressed panels
These panels span up to 6.1 metres and have a wide range of uses. They are fast to install and feature cast-in, no-drill fixings.
Designed for speedy safe installation our concrete prestressed wall panels are the ideal solution for agricultural or industrial use. They are designed for loadbearing or steel framed building walls. Versions for muck, grain or aggregate storage are available in standard heights from 1000mm to 1500mm with tongue and groove joints and cast in fixings and in thicknesses from 95mm to 280mm.

Our prestressed concrete wall panels are made by creating a cast or mould, embedding high strength steel reinforcement within the concrete. This process is known as prestressing and allows the panels to manage heavy loads whilst maintaining structural integrity over long periods.
All of our prestressed panels, regardless of size, and made for quick and safe installation. As an ideal choice for both agricultural and industrial use, we design our panels for loadbearing and steel framed building walls. They featured cast-in fixings, so no drilling is required on site and installation is always made using the correct equipment to lift panels into place, minimising installation time.
At Wolfenden Concrete, the sizes for prestressed panels ranges from 1,000mm to 1,500mm in height and 95mm to 280mm in thickness.
Prestressed panels have several benefits for the agricultural industry. This includes:
- Durability: Prestressed wall panels have exceptional durability reducing the risk of cracks, deformation or damage.
- Strength: Their strength allows each panel to withstand heavy loads and impacts, suitable for larger projects and sites.
- Low maintenance: Due to the manufacturing process, the final prestressed panel requires very little maintenance or upkeep to stay in the best condition.
- Versatility: Prestressed panels are used for a range of applications both in agricultural and across other industries.
- Fast installation: As mentioned, the fast installation process makes them a great choice for all projects.
- Environmental impact: Due to their longevity, regular repairs and replacements are unlikely, improving your sustainability and minimising material waste.
